Third - Fifth Grades

Curriculum

The teachers teach Reading through the BJU curriculum, continue Handwriting Without Tears through the 4th Grade, Shurley English/Grammar is used through 4th grade, and CSI Bible continues through 5th grade as well. Science and Social Studies using a systematic approach at this point, and the teachers continue incorporate hands on approaches to facilitate learning. The students continue to build Critical Thinking through the Houghton Mifflin Math program.

Enrichment Courses

3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students have the opportunity to take the following classes:

  • Art
  • Music
  • PE
  • Computer Lab
  • Spanish
  • (4th and 5th grade students also have the option of taking Beginning Band.)
