ANNUAL FINE ARTS TRIPS

New York City

High School Chorus students traveled to New York City in the spring of 2008 and 2010 to sing in the 300 voice Christian Schools Chorale. After rehearsing with other students from around the country, the chorale presented a concert in world-famous Carnegie Hall.  While chorus students were in rehearsals, some of PACS high school art students studied works of art in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of Art and Design, and the Museum of Art and Design.  Both art and chorus students attended a Broadway show, enjoyed sight seeing in the city, and worshiped at the Times Square Church in the heart of Broadway.  Fine arts students have the opportunity to return to New York City in 2012. 

Walt Disney World

The High School Chorus presented a concert in Walt Disney World in the spring of 2009 December of 2010.  In addition to the concert, chorus students participated in the Disney Sings! performing arts workshops.
