Ian Rogan wins State

Congratulations to Ian Rogan for a come from behind finish to place first with a time of 16:44 in the state competition on Saturday in Carrollton, Georgia. Andrew Rogan ran an impressive race finishing third in the state. Joseph Morris, Lucas Stocks, Josh Pratt, Will Clement, and Jesse Bailey finished 47th, 54th, 63rd, 71st, and 72 respectively. These great finishes earned them a 7th place finish in the state out of 29 teams.
In the girl's individual race, Whitney Henderson, with a time of 21:23, took 14th place besting last year's state time by a huge margin of 27 seconds. Congratulations Whitney!

Ian Rogan is named All-Northeast Georgia Cross Country Runner of the Year

Ian Rogan has been named All-Northeast Georgia Cross Country Runner of the Year by Athens Banner Herald. With a time of 16:44, Rogan won the Class A State Championship in November. Also named to the First Team was Ian's twin brother Andrew, who finished third at the state meet with a time of 16:55. Whitney Henderson has been named on the Girl's Second Team and Joseph Morris received Honorable Mention.
