Fine Arts Trips

The Fine Arts Department travels each year to perform and participate in workshops.  Through the venue of travel, students learn to live and work together as a community, observe and analyze art from a Christian worldview perspective, and experience other cultures.  By attending professional performances, students view the application of the skills and knowledge they have learned in their classes and productions.  Students gain an understanding of work ethic, discipline, artistry, and creative abilities in working with professionals in the fields of visual and performing arts.

New York City

Every other year, Prince Avenue Christian School Fine Arts Students have the opportunity to visit New York City, and experience many cultural activities.  In past years, students have sung in Carnegie Hall as a part of the Christian Schools Chorale, visited art museums, participated in Broadway show workshops and backstage tours, and worshipped at culturally diverse city churches.

Walt Disney World

Prince Avenue Christian School students travel to the Walt Disney World parks, where they  have performed concerts and participated in the Disney Sings! And Disney Broadway Magic! workshops which are conducted by Disney professionals.

Prince Avenue Christian School Fine Arts students have the opportunity to share Christ through the arts.  At Camp Gideon, the only Christian camp in Estonia, students teach English through the arts and biblical integration.  Students also lead worship at the camp and in local churches.
