Beverly Shivar Shares with Students About Missions in Nicaragua

PACS Lower School Students Support “Kids First” Christmas Shoe Project

PACS Jazz Band Students Participate in State Jazz Clinic

The Prince Avenue Christian School Jazz Band had six students perform in the Georgia Association of Jazz Educators State Jazz Clinic at Valdosta State University. Participating students were Emily Weaver, Abigail Merhar, Maddy Wilson, Jaxon Connerley, Tanner Iley, and Caleb Land.  They rehearsed and performed with other outstanding high school jazz students from throughout the state.

Eley, Adams, and Morris Nominated as GISA Master Teachers

Three teachers from Prince Avenue Christian School were recently nominated by the PACS administration as Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) 2018 Master Teachers.  Kindergarten teacher Mandy Eley, band director Miles Adams, and Director of Fine Arts LaMurl Morris will all participate in the selection process for this special honor.  The selection process for Master Teacher is challenging and competitive.

PACS Awarded Walton EMC School Empowerment Grant

Prince Avenue Christian School was recently awarded the Walton EMC School Empowerment Grant.  This grant is the STEM Lab Establishment/Science Curriculum Grant and will benefit the lower school with science equipment and supplies such as microscopes, balance scales, and other lab tools as well as supplies needed for projects to enrich studies in earth, physical, and life science.

The PACS Beta Club is sponsoring the annual Christmas Canned Food Drive to support the ACTS Food Pantry in Bogart, GA. After their win over Darlington, the Prince Avenue Christian School Wolverines have advanced to the semifinals of the GHSA State Football Playoffs.
