Prince Avenue Christian School students and families raised $4,075 through the Interact Club's drive to raise money for hygiene care kits for the Honduras Senior Mission Trip. Through their generosity, the Interact Club exceeded its goal of 400 kits. The remainder of the money raised will go directly to Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International in Honduras.
The Prince Avenue Christian School senior class will leave on Saturday, February 25th for the PACS Senior Mission Trip to Honduras. On this trip, students will have the opportunity to share the Gospel by giving out copies of the Bible, taking prayer walks, and ministering to the local population alongside the full-time missionaries of that area. The Prince Avenue Christian School Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball teams have both qualified for the first round of State Basketball Play-Offs.
After placing second in the Region 8-A tournament, the Lady Wolverines will host Athens Christian Lady Eagles on Friday, February 17th at 7:00 pm in the Wolverine Gymnasium.

Prince Avenue Christian School senior, Jasmine Hawkins, recently presented a demonstration speech “How to Groom a Horse” to Mrs. Mast’s speech class. Jasmine brought in her two horses, Bling and Logan. Bling (pictured) is a paint horse and has belonged to Jasmine for seven years. Jasmine shows both horses in events nationally.

Prince Avenue Christian School sophomore Nate Aldin has been named to the 2017 Georgia All-State Band. Nate plays the clarinet in the PACS Advanced Band and is the first band student in PACS history to be selected for high school All-State Band. Nate will rehearse and perform with this distinguished group March 2-4 at the Athens Classic Center.
The Prince Avenue Christian School Fine Arts Department will sponsor Fine Arts Week February 13 - 17. The week will include many activities for the school as well as special events for Fine Arts students.
Fine Arts Week will be celebrated school-wide with themed dress-up days.

Prince Avenue Christian School junior, John Morgan McDonald, has been selected as a Team Delegate for the 2016-2017 season to represent the Athens Bulldog Swim Club as a part of the USA Swimming Governing Body.
The selection of a student delegate is a prestigious honor for John Morgan who represents not only the ABSC team at Local Swimming Committee
The Prince Avenue Christian School Parent Teacher Fellowship is sponsoring the 3rd annual Running with the PACS 5K and Fun Run to be held at PACS on Saturday, March 25th. The course will be run on the paved streets around campus and in nearby neighborhoods.
